Well what can I say about this week's episode? To be honest, for me it was a bit of a 'meh' episode.
It's great seeing another side to Jac since the birth of Emma and I really wanted to shake her when she wouldn't hold Emma for the first time (though I did feel for her when she arrived back on the NICU feeling ready to hold her daughter, only to see her nemesis Bonnie holding her instead!) It was left to the NICU doctor to give it to Jac straight that made her finally see sense.
Digby, Dom and Zosia had a story line involving an ancient mummy being scanned and the curator accompanying the mummy denying that there was something wrong with her; well, she did until Sacha spoke to her and persuaded her to have treatment. Sacha also realised that the mummy wasn't actually a prince but a princess much to the shock of the curator! You also saw Guy threaten Sacha's job by telling him that if he didn't get Zosia into theatre to perform more surgery then Sacha would end up losing his position as a teacher. As you can imagine this treat did not go down to well with Zosia, who upon finding out about this went to confront her father, but he wasn't having any of it. In the end, in the hope that Zosia will comply and spend more time in theatre, Sacha told all 3 of his students that if Zosia didn't pass her rotation, none of them would. Will be interesting to see if Digby and Dom pull together in order to make Zosia get her theatre hours up and for all three of them to pass.
AAU saw a new face in the shape of a new registrar. Doctor Raf is a no nonsense, straight talking kind of guy who took an instant dislike to Harry (yes we actually got some Dr T action this week, albeit a very small amount, but you know what they say, good things come in small doses!! ) I'm not too sure how to take Raf; I do like the actor who plays him but I'm not too sure if I like the character. I guess only time will tell.
So let us know what you think by writing below......
