Well this week's episode, in my opinion, had a lot to be desired. I didn't really feel it this week and there was a major lack of Dr T
Over on Darwin, Jac and Jonny had a meeting with Mr T who told them a decision had been made about when the best time would be for their baby to be born; Mr T informed them that 4th February is going to be the big day. This set up the remainder of the episode for Jonny as he had to deal with a heavily pregnant lady who arrived on the ward after collapsing at home. This led to Jonny becoming emotionally involved with the patient, especially when it comes to light that the patients unborn baby might have Down's Syndrome. In the end though, everything sorted itself out, but only after Jac had had a go at Jonny about his behaviour.
On AAU, Serena dealt with a suspected drug smuggler who tried to accuse her of sexual assault of some kind. After Sasha had performed a colonoscopy on the patient, both him and Serena found out that the suspected drugs was in fact a roll of notes!!! This find made Guy stand up for Serena by standing up to the smuggler and took a share of the find as a 'donation' to the paediatric cancer unit.
Speaking of Guy, an old friend of his - Collette - turned up with an old patient of his. The patient is admitted to Keller ward. Guy is then persuaded by Collette to perform neurosurgery on the young man which he proceeds to do (with support from both Collette and Digby). It seems that Collette is able to talk to Guy in a way no-one else would dream of doing - or even get away with doing - and to this end, at the end of the episode Guy offered her a job at Holby.
Well that's my thoughts on the episode; what do you think.....?
