The good news about this week's episode is that there was quite a bit of Dr Tressler action; the bad news that there still wasn't enough Dr T action!!
Poor Elliot hasn't had the best of times lately. First of all his dog died and then he was told by his girlfriend Sharon that she had been offered her dream job back in the States and was leaving. This left Elliot spending most of the episode trying to decide if he wanted to join her or not; at first he was all for going over and spending time with her, to the point that he went to Serena and asked to take a 3 month sabbatical to commence with immediate effect. But then, no sooner had he decided to do so, he changed it back and decided to stay in Holby after all - yay!!
On AAU, they became the overspill ward for A&E after a major road traffic incident. Harry had a patient who had what turned out to be a Cardiac Tamponard; this meant that Harry, along with Ric, Chrissie and Mary Claire, ended up in theatre to relieve the pressure of the fluid around the heart. Just when it all seemed to be going well with the patient back on the ward, said patient took a turn for the worse and ended up back in theatre again. Once the full extent of what was happening inside the patient was realised, Ric explained to Harry that there wasn't anything else to do, so the patient ended up passing away on the operating table. And that was the last we saw of Harry for the rest of the episode.
Harry did get some good lines this week:
Upon seeing Elliot and Sharon in the coffee shop - "over 50 & still at it. Seriously, there should be some sort of ban!"
And
"get a room!" - the facial expression here is priceless!!
Also in this week's episode, Serena found out that Edward and his new wife had split up and that he was flat broke. This seemed to please Serena and like I said in last week's review, I can see the writer's pushing Edward and Serena together before pulling them apart.
So what did you think of the episode? You know what to do.....
