Well, after the shock attack on Chantelle and Arthur at the end of last week's show, we had the aftermath and how they dealt with it especially when they find out who was behind the attack. The acting from Rob (Arthur) and Lauren (Chantelle) was outstanding and the end scene between them was beautiful and much wanted by many a fan (including me!!)
Elsewhere on Darwin, Mo had a blast from her past arrive when a former patient's sister and mother arrived on the ward. You saw Mo struggling with what was best for the sister of the former patient as she was suffering from the same condition which had turned out to be fatal to her brother - an operation to help bide time or to put her straight onto the transplant list without medical intervention. After a discussion with Elliot, Mo decided to go ahead with the operation thinking that this is what the mother wanted and without knowing the girl's secret that Jonny eventually found out. The operation at first seemed to be a success but the patient took a turn for the worse which left the mother blaming Mo and Mo struggling to deal with it all. Only time will tell (well next week's episode anyway) exactly how Mo manages to cope with it all.
And then we come to the 'love triangle' that is Harry, Mary-Claire and Gemma. Now I'm not the biggest fan of Mary-Claire but I did feel sorry for her when she saw Harry and Gemma almost kiss by the vending machine (how romantic!!) She got her own back on Harry by using his credit card to book a weekend away for the both of them at a very expensive hotel - well it was her 30th after all!!! Now as much as I love Harry, I can't believe after the way his character has been described, that he wouldn't have the bottle to break up with Mary-Claire. I mean for goodness sake, he breaks the rules left, right and center when it comes to patient care without a second thought of the consequences, so I think it's about time he 'manned up' and did the right thing.
Right well that's enough of my thoughts on the episode; what did you all think......?
