Knight: Wills will spot me on HolbyJules Knight has gone from singing to actingJules Knight, Holby City's newest star, has said he is considering sending a box set of the show to old friends the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. The ex-Blake baritone has just joined the BBC medical drama as Harry Tressler and thinks Prince William and his wife Kate, friends of his from university in St Andrews, will recognise him on the show. He said: "I somehow doubt that they [William and Kate] are fans of medical dramas but if I can get hold of the Holby box set, maybe I'll send it to them. "If they see me [on TV], I'm sure they'll say, 'We used to know that guy!'." Jules formed classical singing group Blake with old friends from school when they reconnected through Facebook and had success with them worldwide before leaving to pursue his acting career. He said: "Blake wish me the best. I've known one of them since I was seven years old. I wasn't able to give them as much notice as I would have liked but they've been really supportive and I hope they go on to great success without me." On the set of Holby, Jules has already found new singing buddies in his new castmates. "It's a core of four singers who sing together on set. We mainly sing songs from Singing In The Rain. I'm pretty sure we're becoming those people that you see or hear on the bus and hope that they get off!" Holby City is on BBC One on Tuesdays.
